The anger management provider and confidentiality

This is just a short note to remind all consumers that just like others in the helping profession certified anger management providers are bound to respect the confidentiality of our client. All certified providers should at intake provide the consumer with a statement of release of information. The consumer has the right to refuse to sign this statement. If a consumer refuses to sign the statement all communication between the client and the provider is protected. Therefore none of the client family members, his/her legal counselor or employer or anyone else can be given any information about the interaction during anger management classes.

We as anger management providers owe it to our client to provide a safe confidential environment to work out their anger management problems.
