Anger is only a signal

Like any other emotion anger is a signal that some emotional need is not met. Just like when one feels hunger one determines if to delay eating or not, the same is true for our emotional. There are not necessarily a call to immediate action. A good tip in dealing with anger is to ask yourself what in the real feeling that is driving the anger. If it is disappointment for example, deal with that emotion. When one begins to see anger as only a signal it will cause revolutionary changes in the way we relate to others and meet our emotional needs.
