ANGER ON MY MIND

Do you want to be right or do you want your relationships

Posted on: June 22, 2008

Although being right or maintaining your relationships are not always mutually exclusive, often they be. However there are times when choosing to be right and forgoing the kind of negotiation that keeps our relationships together is a skill that many lack. Instead some choose to purely hold their ground and isolate others. In the long run this course may appear admirable but isolating others has a destructive long term result that is not desirable. A more desirable course may be to learn negotiation skills so that one is able to maintain your values and beliefs and still be able to embrace some of the desires of others.
